I discovered grand feu enamel in the heart of Geneva's jewelry and watchmaking workshops – this ancestral, demanding, and almost forgotten technique, where glass powder melted at over 800°C reveals colors of unique depth and intensity. Each piece is a miracle: fire transforms matter into vibrant, eternal, time-resistant brilliance.As an engineer by training, I have always been drawn to precise technical processes where science meets art. But grand feu enamel went further: it was a poetic alchemy, a dialogue between human mastery and the unpredictability of the flame.
I felt the need to revive this technique in contemporary creations – far from classic motifs, focused on individual and modern expression.Éclats d'Émail was born from this desire: to create jewelry that are not just ornaments, but declarations of identity. The first collection, the Dog Tags, is inspired by revisited military tags – symbols of strength, character, and what defines us deeply. Each pendant is imagined, designed, and handcrafted in our Swiss workshops by master enamellers who perpetuate a rare and precious savoir-faire.Today, Éclats d'Émail celebrates the union between secular tradition and bold design.
